1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to AnimeMates. These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the AnimeMates mobile application, website, and related services. By creating an account or using AnimeMates, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Services.

2. Eligibility

AnimeMates is intended exclusively for individuals who are at least eighteen (18) years old. By using the Services, you confirm that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining accurate account information and protecting your login credentials. You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account. AnimeMates reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain false information, violate these Terms, or pose a risk to the platform or its users.

4. User Conduct

Users must interact respectfully and lawfully while using AnimeMates. You may not engage in harassment, hate speech, threats, impersonation, fraud, spam, illegal activities, or any conduct that infringes upon the rights of others. You may not attempt to manipulate competitions, voting systems, rankings, subscriptions, or other platform features.

AnimeMates reserves the right to remove content and take action against users who violate these rules.

5. User Content

AnimeMates allows users to post content, including images, videos, livestreams, comments, messages, creator content, and other materials. You retain ownership of the content you create; however, by posting content on AnimeMates, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, distribute, promote, and use that content for the operation and improvement of the Services.

You are solely responsible for ensuring that your content does not violate any law or third-party rights.

6. Dating Features

AnimeMates may provide optional dating and matchmaking features. We do not guarantee compatibility, successful relationships, user authenticity, or the behavior of any individual using the platform. Users are solely responsible for their interactions with others both online and offline and should exercise appropriate caution and personal judgment at all times.

7. Messaging and Livestreams

Users are responsible for all communications and livestream content shared through AnimeMates. We reserve the right to review, moderate, remove, or restrict content that violates these Terms, Community Guidelines, applicable laws, or platform policies.

8. Competitions, Voting, and Events

AnimeMates may offer competitions, voting activities, promotions, and events. We reserve the right to establish eligibility requirements, modify rules, disqualify participants, or cancel activities where necessary to protect fairness, security, and platform integrity.

9. Creator Pages and Monetization

Eligible users may create creator pages, offer subscriptions, and publish premium content. Creators are responsible for complying with applicable laws, tax obligations, and platform policies. AnimeMates reserves the right to approve, restrict, suspend, or terminate participation in monetization programs at its discretion.

10. Payments and Purchases

Certain features may require payment. All purchases, subscriptions, and premium content transactions are subject to applicable pricing and payment terms. Unless otherwise required by law, payments may be non-refundable. AnimeMates may modify pricing, plans, or features at any time.

11. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in AnimeMates, including its branding, software, design, features, and technology, remain the property of AnimeMates and its licensors. Users may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or exploit any part of the Services without prior written permission.

12. Suspension and Termination

AnimeMates may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the Services at any time if a user violates these Terms, applicable laws, Community Guidelines, or engages in behavior that threatens platform security or user safety.

13. Disclaimers

AnimeMates is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, user authenticity, successful matches, creator earnings, competition outcomes, or the accuracy of user-generated content.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AnimeMates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of the Services, including damages related to user interactions, dating activities, livestreams, competitions, purchases, subscriptions, or user-generated content.

15. Changes to the Services and Terms

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time. We may also update these Terms periodically. Continued use of AnimeMates following any updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of [Insert Country/State]. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in [Insert Jurisdiction].

Contest Rules

Contestants/Participants

• NO AI generated lead characters.
• Contestants/Participants cannot have been invited to host for any con, event, or expo in the last calendar year.
• Contestants/Participants have to have made at minimum 70% of cosplay costume.
• Contestants/Participants cannot use more than 70% AI generated work.

Grand Prize

Contestants/Participants must reach a minimum of 2000 likes to qualify. Event of choice for two only includes flight, hotel, and admission into Event, Expo, ComiCon, or Cruise. Flights must be roundtrip from one destination. Event must be 6 months in the future after winner announced.

Placements

• 1st Place: Most likes before contest ends.
• 2nd Place: Second most likes before contest ends.
• 3rd Place: Third most likes before contest ends.

Dispute Resolution

If a dispute arises from or relates to this contract or the breach thereof, and if the dispute cannot be settled through direct discussions, the parties agree to endeavor first to settle the dispute by mediation administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Commercial Mediation Procedures before resorting to arbitration. The parties further agree that any unresolved controversy or claim arising out of or relating to this contract, or breach thereof, shall be settled by arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association in accordance with its Commercial Arbitration Rules and judgment on the award rendered by the arbitrator(s) may be entered in any court having jurisdiction thereof.
